2023 Optional Challenge: Weekly Challenges! [Index & Guidelines]

Hello, trainers!

Just like its sister fest, Sick-or-Treat will be hosting weekly challenges for trainers to earn additional prize ribbons, on top of the badges you'll earn! Complete 1, 4, or all 8 challenges to earn different ribbons. This year, we have the same theme from our sister fest Dick-or-Treat earlier this year: status conditions.

Guidelines

1. Weekly challenges are themes which highlight a subset of moves. The bottom of this post has an index of themes and and links to each community post!
   
   
2. To receive credit for a weekly challenge, post a work titled after a move that fulfils the theme to your regional collection of choice, and tag it to indicate which weekly challenge it's for. For this year's set of challenges, our recommended format is 'Sick-or-Treat 2023 - Weekly Challenge X' (replacing X with the appropriate week). If you don't tag your work to indicate that it's for a weekly challenge, we won't count it towards any of the challenges, even if the move falls under one of the themes!
   
   
3. Each individual work may only qualify for one weekly challenge - the one that you tag - even if the move itself fulfils multiple weekly challenge themes. You're free to reuse the same move as long as you create a new work for it.
   
   
4. If your title includes multiple moves, you will receive credit for the tagged weekly challenge as long as at least one of the moves is on the list of your tagged challenge. You will not receive double credit for including multiple moves, and you will not receive credit for any other weekly challenges aside from the one you tag, even if other moves in your title are on those lists. You can refer to our general FAQ for a detailed example and breakdown of how we handle multi-move titles (especially as it relates to how they count for our stats round-up); in general, we encourage you to stick to one move for simplicity's sake!
   
   
5. You have until the end of the posting period to complete weekly challenges. Posting a work for Weekly Challenge 1 on the 30th of November is totally fine!
   
   
6. Weekly challenges do not need to be done in order to receive credit. The prizes are based on the number of weekly challenges you complete, regardless of order or which ones you complete.
   
   
7. You may complete a weekly challenge as many times as you like. You will receive credit for every qualifying work. Example: creating 3 works tagged with 'Sick-or-Treat 2023 - Weekly Challenge 3' and 1 work tagged with 'Sick-or-Treat 2023 - Weekly Challenge 1' will earn you the ribbon for completing 4 challenges.
   
   
8. Works will be counted towards weekly challenge credit based on their state at approval; mods will not be checking back afterwards. Be sure to add the tag! If you forget to tag and need to add it later, please inform the mods by commenting on the community post for the weekly challenge, or on the master index post.
